H20/UV CLEAR COAT
The H20/UV Clear Coat was developed as a finishing system for Resin-X, epoxy, and can even be used with polyester resin systems. H20/UV is a single component waterborne clear coat that utilizes a catalyst to make the product water submersible. This product is available in gloss, semi gloss, satin, and matte sheens. Extra UV stabilizers and inhibiters have been added to help protect your substrate from the Sun’s harmful rays. With its low viscosity the H20/UV clear can be applied with a spray gun or brush. Other advantages include fast set time for quick sanding and after the product has been catalyzed it still can be used for over 12 hours. If at this time the there is still left over catalyzed product it can be poured into the original container and will go inert to be re used at a later date. H20/UV clear seals weave in fiberglass construction saving time in sand thru scenarios where small batches of resin are normally made up to Q.C. products before final finish work is done. H20/UV clear provides a silky; polish able, topcoat with out adding weight of like traditional thick milled resin systems.
H20/UV clear has gone through over 2 years of real world testing in the field. Along with that it has been tested for over 2000 hours of QUV testing in our lab with no peeling, chipping, cracking or loss of adhesion. It maintains a clear flexible film of up to 9 mils through sun and salt water spray exposure.
